- Always Be Leveraging. Yes, that means use software and services to expedite tasks. Doing manual keyword research? Use a tool instead. Hand building all of your blogs? Leverage a widget, or a plugin, or a person, to exponentially amp up your efforts, and fast)
- Prioritize Profitable Projects: Very important. Never be pennywise, but pound foolish when it comes to building your online business. Sacrifice easy gains for long term, higher end value.
- Enjoy What You Do.....and Take a Break When You Don't'. Burnout is a big problem when you work for yourself. Learning to leave when it stops being fun is a great way of keeping your fire flowing.
-Build Real Relationships! This is HUGE, and really important. It's somehow evident that work from home and Internet marketing have gained some more 'fans' or 'followers' after the outbreak of today's financial crisis. Since traditional businesses and regular office jobs are the first ones that got hit by the dreaded impact of this economic meltdown, more people are seeking refuge and shelter under the umbrella of doing work from home. Although we can't deny the fact that online marketing is such a promising area of business and work, there are still questions and concerns that keep buzzing in our heads.
A particular problem that surfaced tackles about how one can find a legitimate and effective work from home opportunity amidst all those scams and other crap found lurking over the Internet. Millions of people are looking to Work at Home each Year. In my opinion some have great success, while others fail miserably. Why is that? That's a very good question, but being able to work at home brings along it own set of baggage. First if you do not have the self-discipline to work from home without supervision than odds are you will fail.
Many people think that work at home jobs are just a matter of doing what they do at work from the comfort of their home. In some cases this is true, but more often than not it is not the case. The work at home arena is a great way in my opinion to earn extra income or replace your current income, but many times working online is different than what many people perceive that it would be. That's not bad except for the fact that many people do not like change, it makes them feel uncomfortable and they likely do nothing. Well if you are working from home and you do nothing you will not make any money. These people often go on to give negative feedback on the whole work at home niche of the market place. I think this is really unfair. Don't get me wrong you have to do your research, because there are plenty of scam artists lurking on the worldwide web just looking to take advantage of someone.

They normally only show the programs the feel offer the best opportunity for various reasons. I think if a person picks from work at home programs that have done some level of research they will have a leg up on success.
